A fun and welcoming class for dancers of all experience levels. Recreational dance focuses on learning basic technique, building confidence, staying active, and enjoying movement in a supportive environment. Students explore choreography, musicality, and teamwork while developing skills at their own pace.

A more focused program for dancers who want additional training and performance opportunities. Competition classes emphasize technique, strength, precision, and stage presence while preparing routines for performances and dance competitions. Dancers build commitment, teamwork, and confidence in a positive, encouraging setting.

Elite Dance Program

KLJ Movement (KLJM) is known for providing performance opportunities to aspiring artists, dancers, and movement artists. The Elite Dance Program is for youth ages 5-18 years old. This program structure fosters pre-professional development to youth that want to join dance teams, college dance teams, collegiate dance programs, go into musical theater, acting, entertainment, or become a professional dancer/choreographer/movement artist. Scholars will advance their skillset and increase performance opportunities, as well as train and compete in competitions during the season.

We have chosen to implement Auto Pay for our payment processing to support the seamless functioning of our program and to ensure the consistency and reliability of our performances.
While Cash App Pay is useful for one-time transactions, it does not offer the same level of consistency, security, and administrative efficiency required for the ongoing needs of our program. We appreciate your understanding and support as we strive to provide the best possible experience for all participants. The competition team cost $6000 annually. There are various fundraisers organized by our board, parent board, and executive team to support families with costs. Monthly payment plans are available.
The recreation dance classes are $17 per drop in. Fee's are paid when you register. Refuns are only allowed when canceled 5 days before the scheudled class.

KLJ Movement, will be hosting a Q&A, for families to check out our program. Please note, we have a two week drop period for our competition team, where participants can drop class at the beginning of the season if needed. Any withdrawal from the season after August 17th, will be considered an early withdrawal and will be financially responsible for continuing payment for the remainder of the season.
