Dance Courses
Courses run for 15 weeks per season and courses are split by age group. All classes are offered to each age group.
FOundations 1
Price Per Course Below
Mondays
- Company Scholars will engage in technical training of various styles. The styles of dance include, ballet and modern.
- Company Scholars will engage in learning dance material to improve memory skills. Combinations will be introduced each week. choreographed by instructors of guest artist.

Wednesdays
- Company Scholars will engage in technical training of various styles. The styles of dance include indigenous foundations, hip hop, and commercial dance.
- Company Scholars will engage in learning dance material to improve memory skills. Combinations will be introduced each week. choreographed by instructors of guest artist.
Performance

Fridays
- Company Scholars will engage in learning performance techniques for their seasonal concert and for the future. The course will cover auction practices, dancing in videos, stage performance skills and more.
- Scholars must be enrolled in the foundations course to enroll in performance (rehearsal is highly encouraged).
Ages Groups
For youth aged 4-18, students. Courses run for 15 weeks per season. Dancers can enroll in up to 3 courses. Prices are per class and are a one time payment.
Ages 4-6
170 per course for the season
- Mondays from 5:30PM - 6:30PM Foundations 1
- Wednesdays from 5:30PM - 6:30PM Foundations 2
Beginner
180 per course for the season
*Recommended for dancers new to dance and new to KLJM and would highly suggest taking both foundations*
- Mondays from 6:30PM - 7:30PM Foundations 1
- Wednesdays from 6:30PM - 7:30PM Foundations 2
- Fridays from 5:00PM - 6:00PM Performance
Intermediate
180 per course for the season
*Recommended for experienced dancers or returning dancers to KLJM and would highly suggest taking all three courses*
- Mondays from 7:30PM - 8:30PM Foundations 1
- Wednesdays from 7:30PM - 8:30PM Foundations 2
- Fridays from 6:00PM - 7:00PM Performance
Adult Company - Auditions
For adults 18 and up, KLJ Movement will host auditions for Adult Company Members. Those that are selected to join the company will be hired for a calendar year. Each year, auditions are held, starting in Fall of 2022. If interested in auditioning, we highly encourage attending the weekend workshops mentioned below.
Company Auditions
This year auditions to be apart of the company will be held on the following dates:
- August 29th from 5:00PM - 8:00PM
- August 31st from 5:00PM - 8:00PM
- September 2nd from 5:00PM - 7:00PM
Dancers must attend all three dates to be considered for the company. Be on the look out on our social media platforms for current information, or email us at info@kljmovement.org
WEEKEND WORKSHOPS
Open to all ages 13+ and open skill levels; dance workshops are an opportunity for people that want to take class without enrolling. Those that are not formally enrolled and only participate in weekend workshops are not eligible for performance opportunities provided by KLJ Movement. The styles of the workshops vary upon the respected artist that is teaching. These workshops are held Saturday mornings. Instructors for each week will be announced on the home page.
GUEST ARTIST
$15 per workshop
All fees go towards the dancers performances, equipment and instruction.
Enrollment Document
Enrollment is OPEN For the Fall!
The fall season will begin September, TBD, 2022 until December, TBD, 2022. Email info@kljmovement.org for any questions you may have regarding dance courses, bookings, apparel, and more. Weekend Workshops
